Dishwasher
We are looking for Full-time and Part-time Dishwashers to join our dining services team at our senior living community.
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dishwashing areas, ensuring that dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all dishes and kitchen items are properly cleaned and stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and storage spaces.
- Assist with cleaning kitchen floors, countertops, sinks, and other surfaces.
- Remove trash and dispose of waste according to sanitation guidelines.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each shift.
- Follow established procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications:
- Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move kitchen supplies as needed.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
Work schedule:
- 6:00am - 2:00pm
- 11:00am - 7:00pm
